All fourteen of our en-suite rooms have been fully refurbished. We balanced the character of our 17th-century building with practical comfort. After hours on the Coast Path or along the harbour, you return to a quiet, well-prepared room where everything works as it should.
You will find comfortable beds that support deep rest, thoughtfully designed bathrooms with hot showers, calm interiors that allow you to unwind and central access to harbour life without late-night disruption.

Each morning begins with breakfast included. Walkers often prefer an early start before the Coast Path becomes busier. Others take their time, enjoying coffee while planning the day.
Breakfast provides structure and reassurance. You do not need to search for somewhere suitable before your walk begins. You start the day prepared and properly fuelled.
Fire Cooking and Fresh Harbour Fish
Many guests choose to dine with us after a day outside. Our restaurant focuses on fire-led cooking and clear provenance. Fresh fish arrives from Brixham harbour. Grass-fed Devon beef comes from long-standing relationships built over decades. The menu reflects the coast rather than trends.
Our sister restaurant, The Dartmoor Inn at Merrivale, shares this same fire-led philosophy inland. Together, we describe the connection as soil and sea. Dartmoor provides pasture and depth. Brixham provides salt air and harbour life. The approach remains consistent, rooted in provenance and clarity rather than excess.
After a long walk, sitting down to a proper meal in the same building as your room completes the rhythm of the stay.

We allocate a limited number of dog friendly rooms. Late Spring and early Summer see steady demand, particularly from Coast Path walkers and couples planning extended coastal breaks.
